If you are the kind of person who is eager to try something different, you may want to check out the new three-screen laptop from Razer. A multi-display setup is hardly a new concept, particularly with those who deal in desktop gaming creations. However, no one has ever really tried to create a multi-screen concept with laptops. This means that no matter how powerful gaming laptops become, they still have to deal with the handicap of having just one screen.
But Razer endeavours to change that. At CES, the company unveiled Project Valerie. This device aims to become the first laptop to incorporate three built-in monitors into the design. Each screen will measure 17.3 inches, and it’s going to feature 4K resolution. Under their own power, they will have the ability to slide effortlessly from the central lid chassis. From there, they will automatically position themselves to create the desired effect. Powered by the Surround View technology from NVIDIA, the product is also going to take advantage of the short-throw keyboard that Razer is highly regarded for. It will also be completely compliant with everything that concerns the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
Even more impressive is that it is 1.5-inches thick and it’s going to weigh less than twelve pounds. While that is fairly heavy for a gaming laptop, it will still remain a portable solution that can be set up in a variety of locations. At no point will you have to restrict the use of this product to a stationary position on your desk. We are still in the dark with regards to the price tag that Razer will place on this incredible innovation.
